The late John Cullen was a highly respected school teacher and Labour Councillor, does being a school teacher rule you out of local politics because you are not a manual worker getting your hands dirty. Get a grip steve c before making wild statements aboout Michael Wheeler. |

Probably closer to working in a factory or builder's merchant than his nearest rival, the tory. How about a profile to find out more about this man? |

Congratulations to Michael Wheeler, let us hope he can do as fine a job as John Cullen who will be sadly missed. The only blot on this by election was the odious BNP party polling 147 votes, beating the Liberal Democrat party candidate by 20 odd votes, not very good performance really was it, owt to say Norman Owen? |
