Man charged after police car shot at - Eccles
A man has been charged after a police car was shot at during a police pursuit in Eccles. Shortly before 8.30pm on Thursday 25 September 2008, officers following a stolen Skoda Octavia were shot at on Eccles New Road.
No-one was injured as a result of the shot.
Craig Walker, born 16/06/82, of Crowther Avenue, Ordsall, has been charged with two counts of attempted murder and one count of conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to commit a criminal offence.
He is due to appear before magistrates this morning, Monday 29 September 2008.
