Drugs and Ammo Recovered in Raids - Lower Broughton
Officers from GMP's Xcalibre Task Force have executed a number warrants at addresses in Bury, Wigan and Lower Broughton. The warrants were executed last night, Monday 8 September 2008, and today, Tuesday, 9 September 2008, at houses on Springlewood Road, Wigan, and an address in Lower Broughton.
Industrial premises were also searched on Outwood Road, Bury.
Officers recovered five boxes of ammunition from the house in Wigan and a quantity of drugs from the premises in Bury.
Three people have been arrested on suspicion of drug offences. A man and a woman were arrested from the premises in Bury while a man was arrested in Lower Broughton.
