Warning after Prescription Drugs were Stolen - Little Hulton

Police in Salford are warning the public after a quantity of potentially dangerous drugs were stolen.

At about 9.30pm on Thursday 28 August 2008, a man was walking on Ridyard Street in Little Hulton, when he was approached by two white youths, one of whom snatched his rucksack.

Inside the bag was a quantity of the victim's prescription drugs. They are Zapain, Mirtazapine, Dosulepin, Penicillin, Omeprazone and Risperidone.

The drugs are potentially dangerous if taken without doctor's advice and officers ask that if found they are taken to the nearest police station or chemist.

Anyone with information about the drugs or the theft should call police on 0161 872 5050 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
