  The body of Gurdeep Hayer found
Police are no longer looking for 20-year-old Gurdeep Hayer, who has been missing since the early hours of Monday 2 2012. Shortly after 2.50pm on Monday 9 January 2012, a man’s body was found in the river near to York Street in the city centre. The body has been formally identified today as Gurdeep Hayer. There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding his death. A Home Office post-mortem is due to take place later this week. Source: GMP.
