Shots fired at Salford houseShortly before 11pm on Tuesday 26 January 2010, police were called to Delamere Avenue, Irlam O’Th’Heights, Salford.Officers attended and found a door at a house had been damaged, which is believed to be the result of a shotgun having been fired. Nobody was injured. Officers are appealing for anyone who saw any part of the attack to call them. Two men were seen running in the direction of the East Lancashire Road shortly after the shots were fired. Detective Inspector Andy Richardson said: "There must have been people in and around that area at the time, so I'm appealing to them to contact us with any information. "Fortunately nobody was injured, but this was a shocking incident and I'd like to reassure people we're doing all we can to try and trace those responsible."
