Motorcyclist critical after collision - Eccles

A motorcyclist is in a critical condition after a collision in Peel Green.

The 29-year-old man was riding his Suzuki 250 CC off-road motorbike underneath the Barton Bridge of the M60, near to Langland Drive in Peel Green at about 3.20pm on Wednesday 20 January 2010.

The bike collided with one of the large concrete supports for the bridge, leaving the victim with a fractured skull and facial injuries.

He remains in a critical condition at the Salford Royal hospital.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call the Area Four Road Policing Team on 0161 856 7773.
