SalfordOnline’s Totem Pole Campaign Update - (Part 2)
Filmed and Edited by Tony Thornborough
Interview and Words by Tony Flynn

Today we interviewed Stephen Cooke the Liberal Democrat Councillor for Swinton South, here he gives us his thoughts about The Salford Totem Pole.

He hopes to see it fully restored and put back into its rightful place in The Salford Quays area, possibly The Lowry Building.

We intend to interview several other local Councillors and get their opinions on this subject, so if you wish to get involved in our campaign get in touch with us at SalfordOnline or why not have a word with your local councillor.

The more interest that we generate the more chance we have of seeing a wonderful piece of Salford’s heritage back in the public eye.

He is such apleasant person and is very pleased with the interesst that the Salford people have shown in him and his tribe and the first nation people generally. I am so pleased to be involved in this special project. Joe Martin Conservation Officer Salford Council
