In the Timperley and District Junior League Beechfield United Under 14's Tornados drew 1-1 away with Urmston Town Tigers. Despite a swerling wind the match flowed rapidy from end to end throughout the first half during which Urmston Town displayed the better attacking ideas.

United's Man of the Match Blake Pearson gave Beechy the lead when he took a free kick and floated the ball into the net from 35 yards. Chances were on offer to United to score a second goal and claim all three points but they failed to take advantage and with just ten seconds remaining Urmston Town grabbed a dramatic equaliser.

The Under 12's Hurricanes lost 6-1 at home to Swinton Jaguars but United played better than scoreline suggests. In this Challenge Cup tie Ben Crowther scored the consolation goal and the teams Best Player was Daniel Hickey.

Also in Challenge Cup action were the Under 10's Hurricanes who beat South Manchester Tigers 3-2. Goalscorers were Louis Potts (2) and Man of the Match Ben Walker.

Booking their place in the next round of the Challenge Cup were the Under 9's Storm. Jack Foxley, Cason Gibson, Jordan Warburton, Callum Doyle, Anton Smith and Harry McLellan-Grant shared the goals in an easy 9-1 away win at Leigh RMI.
