   Irlam Hornets kick off new season this weekend
Irlam Hornets Amateur Rugby League Football Club who became Division 4 Champions last season and are now playing in Division 3 this season in the North West Counties Rugby League.
Kicking off against Heysham Atoms this weekend Saturday 4th September 2010, with a 3pm kick off, all are welcome to support. Irlam Hornets start the new season with 2 teams, the 1st are away to Heysham Atoms. The 2nds are again away to Chester.the 1st team are coached by ex Salford star Andy Burgess and are hoping to consolidate themselves in the 3rd division after coming up as champs. The 2nd team are looking to bring in new players and help the growth of the club they are being coached by ex hornets star Chris Brannan.
