Lance Todd Gala Dinner at Lowry Hotel, Salford
Salford City Reds and the Reds Devils Association confirm that the 2010 Lance Todd Trophy Gala Dinner will be held on Wednesday 1 September at the exclusive 5 star Lowry Hotel in Salford.

The 2010 event looks set to become a prestigious date on the sporting calendar with the Reds working alongside MBN Events to deliver a glittering occasion with rugby league stars of the past and the present in attendance along with former winners of this most cherished and individual sporting award.

Kevin Spencer, Managing Director of MBN Events said:

The Gala Dinner on the 1st September will be a must for any rugby fan as we congratulate this year`s Lance Todd Trophy winner alongside the greatest names from the game and the business community of Manchester.

Chosen by the attending press at the Carnegie Challenge Cup Final and awarded to the man of the match, the trophy is synonymous with the Red Devils, honouring Salford Manager Lancelot Todd, in whose memory the trophy was commissioned and is a lasting legacy to the man who took Salford to Challenge Cup success back in the 1930’s

Reds CEO David Tarry said:

“This year’s gala event promises to celebrate the legacy that Lance Todd left rugby league and the club.

“As the Reds approach a new era and look to the future, we are determined that we do not forget the great periods in our long history.”

Can all Salford Residents come to this as well? I think we have paid for this in some significant way with bankrolling Salford Reds.
