Video: Angels help out Eccles Scope

Saturday shoppers on Church Street, Eccles were treated to a stiring rendition of Robbie Williams classic, Angels, by Scope shop volunteer, Colin Bentley who belted the song out to raise funds for Scope's fundraiser day.

Manageress Gill Hodson, who arranged the event which included Tombola stalls, fancy dress fundraisers in the pubs of Eccles, refreshments and live music, said that the event was a great success with over £250 raised for their charity.

The shop at the top of Church Street, Eccles was crowded with customers eager to pick up a bargain, and there are plenty to be had, however for me, Colin stole the show, with passerbys only to eager to put money into the collecting boxes as he sang his heart out before taking a well earned bow.

Scope is a registered charity which raises money for people with cerebal palsy and helping disabled people achieve equality.

Have seen this bloke around Eccles, really harmless but what a showman, that is giving it your all and no mistake, top marks to him for getting up, made my day on SalfordOnline.

Brilliant!, I saw this bloke singing as well, he is great, get him on that Salfordmusic festival, he would bring them in, no danger.
