Tim Robbins to play St Philip's Church, Salford
Legendary Hollywood film star and sometime musician, Tim Robbins will perform a one off gig on Friday 1st October, 2010, at St Philip's Church, Chapel Street, Salford.

This is somewhat of a coup to say the least for Reverend Andy Salmon, who in the past has presented, The Sugarbabes, Florence and The Machine, plus many others at his two churches on Chapel Street.

The Un-Convention 2010 festival will also be held at Trinity Church this year.

Tim Robbins possibly best known for his film roles in The Shawshank Redemption, The Hudsucker Proxy, Arlington Road, and Mystic River is an accomplished musician, his father Gilbert was a music publishing executive and folk singer.

Ticket details have yet to be announced.
