Calling all Singers
Salford Choral Society, one of the leading choirs in the North West, is inviting singers all over Greater Manchester to come along and meet them when they begin rehearsals again at the beginning of September So if you’ve ever thought of exercising those tonsils elsewhere than in the shower, come along to St Philip’s Church just behind the Salford Royal Apartments on Chapel Street on Wednesday night. Men are especially welcome! Also starting at the beginning of September will be the Society’s new Music Director, Matthew Hamilton, whose cv already includes television and radio broadcasts with The University of Manchester Chamber Choir, working as Chorus Master for Rambert Dance Company, and Reading Bach Choir Kathy McNaughton, Secretary of Salford Choral Society, says, ‘ It’s an excellent time to take the step of joining a choir, and we look forward to welcoming new members.’.
