Video: Seedley and Langworthy In Bloom Finalists again
Congratulations are in order once again for a community group that in recent years has picked up every major award going. Seedley and Langworthy In Bloom have been nominated for the Royal Horticultural Society's 2012 Britain in Bloom awards. The In Bloom team have been winning awards since 2004, and have picked up everything from Urban Regeneration gongs to Community Effort awards. They're one of 73 community groups from across the country who've been nominated in the national awards. This small patch of wildflowers (see video) near Chimney Pot Park was filmed back in 2010. It was a beautiful, colourful oasis in the middle of a bunch of knocked-down terraces, representing perfectly what Seedley and Langworthy In Bloom do for the community. The awards will be held in Guernsey in October this year.
