I'll be straight down at TKMaxx hunting through the rails for a frock like Hazel's for such occasions!

We live in an age where "Image" dominates it seems. Haven't we had enough of "SPIN" from our professional politicians. It's time honesty made a return to British Politics. I'm sure David will don a Suit & Tie if & when it's appropriate to do so. Hazel dresses nice doesn't she? Does that make you trust her? (Re-arrange these words) I her trust far about as throw as I can her. :)

I take your point guest, but I'm an ordinary bloke not a suited professional - but I do accept there are certainly occasions when suitable attire is needed. I'd feel really false wearing a suit an tie out talking to shoppers going about their regular day to day business - that's how certain "politicians" appear to people. If you take a walk down to Pendleton yourself, you'll see I was dressed pretty much the same as most other folk of my age and social background.

Fair point about "smartening up". But not to the point of losing your "Real Salford Person" persona.

David you have my support, just one point if you want to be taken seriously then smarten up.How you dress gives the image of how you would act.I know people will reply that looks are not everything but it can easily sway voters.
