Heritage Open Weekend - 11th & 12th September 2010
The Church of St Mary Magdalene’s will be open on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th September as part of the national Heritage Open Days.

Our Church will be open from 9am until 6pm on both days.

The Church is a Grade II listed building, with work commencing in 1913. The architect was R T Beckett who built similar churches in the North Wales area.

On Saturday 11th we will have a Book of Common Prayer Mass, (as it might have been celebrated when the Church was built) at 12 noon.

The day will finish with a cheese and wine evening at 6pm.

On Sunday 12th our 10 am Mass will focus on our founders and all those who have worshipped in our Church over the years.

The day will finish with a Taize Evening Prayer at 6pm.

Throughout the weekend there will displays on the Seven Sacrament of the Church and also life and times throughout the history of our Church.

All are welcome.
