Weaste carers chill-out day
“Healthy carers, healthy lives, healthy services.”

If you're a carer, and you need a bit of a break for a few hours, head along to St. Luke’s Parish Hall on the corner of Derby Rd & Liverpool St in Eccles.

There's a group there who want to help you to forget the daily grind and relax for a few hours to recharge your batteries.

Join them on Wednesday 24th February 2010 from 12 noon until 3pm.

Sue Hinder, who is starting up the group, said: "We want carers to come down and have some nice treatments, like massages, but the overall aim of this first meeting is to form a support system for carers in the Claremont and Weaste area."

Which treatments are provided depends on whoever attends, but at a similar group in Charlestown and Lower Kersal that Sue used to run, they had Reiki, Indian head massages, face massages, as well as showing people how to provide them to one another.

Sue says: "I'm looking forward to seeing you all! Drop in any time and stay as long as you want!"
