New national rankings by Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabularies show that GMP has been graded 'poor' for their performance in beating local crime.The official watchdog of the police showed that GMP was ‘causing concern’ and ‘struggled in some key areas’. However, GMP insist that they have continued to cut crime and improve public confidence according to the latest figures released.
