   Broughton clean up by Salix Homes
The preparations in the lead up to Christmas can be hectic, but our contractor Emanuel Whittaker gave a helping hand when one of their site teams decided to use the last afternoon before the Christmas site close down for something a bit different. Eight members of the team including labourers, joiners and plasterers, Resident Liaison Officers and site management staff decided to do a ‘Neighbourhood Clean up' in Stoney Knoll and Gloverfield, where Decent Homes improvement works are well underway. Over the course of a cold morning on 3 December, the site team gave residents a surprise ‘helping hand’ in getting the neighbourhood looking ship shape for Christmas. During the afternoon they removed all manner of litter and debris, as well as a skip load of items that had been dumped including beds, an old settee, mattresses and TV cabinets.
