NHS Salford has funded a series of EPP CIC courses, details are shown below

Improving the lives of people with long-term conditions
The Expert Patients Programme Community Interest Company (EPP CIC) are running FREE local courses for adults and young people living with any long-term health condition in Salford.

The course can help you to:

* Increase your self confidence

* Manage your conditions better on a daily basis

* Improve communication with family, friends and healthcare professionals

* Meet others and share similar experiences

All of our courses are facilitated by trained tutors, who are also living with long-term conditions. These are run over six weekly sessions, each lasting 2 ½ hours.

Topics include:

* Dealing with pain and tiredness

* Coping with feelings of depression

* Relaxation techniques and exercise

* Healthy eating

* Communicating with family and professionals

* Planning for the future
