Facebook has a group on its site called classic salford I've never seen so many old photos of our great city I recommend having a browse you will entranced for hours I've been on a nostalgia trip ever since I went on the site

Salfordian and proud of it, Born edwin st just off whit lane, If you go to the museum at the crescent they have lots of photograhs of whitlane and surrounding streets. You can get photocopies, I have made a book of lots of them, now I can walk down memory lane in picture and memories.

What a great idea - a site for all Salfordians. Anyone out there connected to Windsor Band ? i started what has been a long and happy musical life there.
