   GMP weather update
With the heavy snowfall seemingly over for this week, GMP have issued a more optimistic weather warning, but are still asking for caution. As the snow continues to cause disruption across the region, Greater Manchester Police is re-iterating the message for people to only call 999 in an emergency, where there is a threat to life or crime in progress. Motorists are advised to avoid any unnecessary journeys and take care when travelling on the roads. Due to problems with spam only SalfordOnline members can now leave comments.
