Bogus callers warning in Higher Broughton
Salford police has issued a warning about bogus callers in the Higher Broughton area of Salford.

Unknown male approached the front of premises posing as a Housing Agency inspector. He is allowed in to the address under the pretence of inspecting the utilities. The offender persuades the occupant to switch on the kitchen taps and remain in the kitchen with the occupants daughter. Offender then leaves the kitchen. A while later the occupant approached the offender in the lounge who then leaves the premises having removed a handbag and cash.


He is described as a white male, 40yrs, 5 ft 6 to 5ft 7 in tall, broad build, short mousey hair. Wearing a short grey coat and grey peak cap.
