Police are offering advice to owners of motorcycles after 5 were stolen in the Higher Broughton area in the last 7 days The vehicles are being wheeled off driveways and stolen from streets. Residents can help prevent this crime by following the advice given by Glyn and Fiona: Always use high level security products, including Sold Secure Gold chains and closed shackle padlocks. Chain motorcycles and scooters to immovable objects by the frame, as wheels can be removed. Keep a record of the engine/chassis number and of any modifications or identifiable marks.
