It's the time of year again when burglaries can increase because people are leaving doors unlocked and vulnerable windows open. We had a burglary reported last week where an offender has climbed a drainpipe to get through an open 1st floor window. It is always worth looking at your home through the eyes of a burglary, looking at your vulnerable points, asking yourself 'would I be apble climb up and get through that window?' Insurance companies are now refusing to pay out after a burglary if they can prove you have been negligent by leaving a window open or a door unlocked....
