Anti - social behaviour Easter crackdown in Salford
Greater Manchester Police’s Salford Division will be ensuring residents have a safe and enjoyable Easter holiday.

Officers will be patrolling communities across the city nipping anti- social behaviour in the bud during the school break and making young people aware of the activities being laid on for them in their neighbourhood by youth services and other providers.

Chief Inspector Vinny Greener said: “Anti-social behaviour has been highlighted as a major concern for residents during our latest survey. It has a detrimental effect on the quality of people’s lives and can leave them feeling vulnerable in their own communities. We will have operations during the Easter holidays to deter and robustly deal with any anti-social behaviour that may occur. Through these tactics we and our partners will ensure that everyone can enjoy a trouble and stress free Easter break.

“If anyone witnesses any criminal activity or anti-social behaviour taking place, I would ask them to report it to the police immediately, so we can act accordingly."
