It's only March and already insecurity burglaries are on the increase! Over the last week at least 5 burglaries have occurred across Salford due to people leaving vulnerable windows open and doors unlocked. Areas affected include the student area on Seaford Road, Boothstown and Eccles. Take a few minutes to look at your house through the eyes of a burglar..which windows are vulnerable, are they next to a drainpipe? is there a window over a flat roof. These are all ways that an opportunistic burglar will try to get into your home. Please - take a few minutes before leaving your home or going to bed that your home is as secure as it can be!!!!!
