If you want to know how your area measures for crime, check out a new website Log on to www.direct.gov.uk, click on Local Crime Maps and enter your post code. You can view the local figures for burglary, robbery, vehicle crime, violence and anti social behaviour. You can also see how the level of crime compares to previous years.
