SNAP returns to Worsley
SNAP is coming to Worsley to give talks on fire safety

There will be two Fire Safety talks on Wednesday 29th June as part of a week of SNAP activities in Worsley open to the public.

Fire Safety Officers will be giving presentations at The Sea Cadets, Worsley Dry Docks, at 10am and 7pm, all are welcome.

The talks are part of a larger fire safety campaign in Worsley. GMFR will also be going door-to-door, carrying out household fire saftey checks in the area.

A home fire risk assessment involves firefighters or specially trained representatives of the Fire and Rescue Service visiting people’s homes to advise them on how best to avoid a fire in their home and how to prepare an escape plan should a fire break out. They will also fit free smoke alarms in the property where there are none

If you would like GMFR to perform a free home fire assessment, please call 0800 555 815

If you would like to attend a SNAP presentation, please contact Paula Garstang, Admin Officer to Worsley Boothstown Neighbourhood Management Team, on 0161 790 4562 or email: paula.garstang@salford.gov.uk
