FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICE ISSUES DIWALI SAFETY WARNING
( Right Click PDF Document for advanced viewing options. )  Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service has issued a safety warning as we approach the religious festival of Diwali. A major feature of the festival celebrations involves the use of candles and fireworks. During this period the Service often experiences serious fires as result of candles being left unattended and is reiterating the dangers of the careless use of fireworks.
