GMF deny "compulsory redundancies"
There are currently reports that Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service are planning to make 'compulsory redundancies' and considering 'closing fire stations'. Contrary to these reports, at this time there are no plans to carryout either 'compulsory redundancies' or 'closing of fire stations', although there are a number of reviews that have the potential to significantly impact on the Fire and Rescue Service and we await their findings.
