Four car pile-up leaves two injured in Worsley
A man and woman were taken to hospital following a collision in Worsley.

The crash, in the early hours of Thursday morning, involved four cars.

Firefighters from Eccles Fire Station were called to Barton Road at 2.30am on Thursday, January 12, following a report of a collision.

Two crews went to the scene and found a 4x4 Mitsubishi Shogun had collided with three parked cars - an Audi, a BMW and a Mercedes.

Firefighters treated a 20-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman, who had been driving the Shogun, at the scene until an ambulance arrived.

The crews set up their lighting equipment and worked at the scene to make all the cars safe.

Paramedics took the man and woman to hospital, say Greater Manchester Fire.
