Fire crews at Irlams O'th Height blaze
On Tuesday 18th August 2010 at 02:16 Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service received reports of a fire involving a domestic property in Irlams Oth Height, Salford. Two Fire Crews from Salford and Agecroft Fire Stations were mobilised and on their arrival to the property they found a fire involving the settee in the living room on the ground floor. One man self rescued prior to the arrival of fire crews. Firefighters used a hose reel whilst wearing breathing apparatus and a positive pressure fan to extract the smoke from the property.
