Victorian house in Eccles damaged by blaze
At 02:26hrs on Friday 14 May 2010 Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service received reports of a fire involving a large Victorian house on Clarendon Crescent in the Ellesmere Park area of Eccles, Salford.

Six Fire Crews, from Eccles, Salford, Agecroft and Stretford were mobilised to the detached house with a specialist Hydraulic Platform and on their arrival found that it was well alight.

Firefighters fought to bring the blaze under control using Jets.

The caused of the fire is under investigation.
