Wife of Monton firefighter on Haiti earthquake rescue

Andy Roughley, who lives in Monton and works out of the Eccles Fire Station, is currently helping the relief effort in Haiti. Last week GM Fire and Rescue flew out nine members of its crew along with a search dog to the Caribbean island that was struck by a 7.3 magnitude earthquake, to help the relief effort.
