Haiti earthquake: GM Fire audio interview, part two
by Tom Rodgers With two local firefighters and nine men from Greater Manchester Fire travelling out to Haiti after the devastating recent earthquake, we have received this interview with Operations Commander Pete Stephenson. Pete describes the incredible scenes in the Caribbean country, which was rocked by a shallow earthquake measuring 7.3 on the Richter Scale. The nine firefighters and search and rescue dog from Greater Manchester are now operating in Haiti as part of the United Kingdom – International Search and Rescue (UK-ISAR) team.
