Free tickets going for Countdown
Countdown nut? Pedant extraordinaire? Crossword fanatic? You'll like this then. There are free audience tickets on offer for Countdown at the ITV Studios in Manchester.

Comedians Dave Spikey and Pam Ayres are among the guests joining new host Nick Hewer for this new series of the Channel 4 classic beloved of students.

Caroline Allport, the Development Worker for Older People at Salford has sent in this info about the show.

To book, either call 0161 952 0408 or email caroline.allport@salford.gov.uk with your full name, address, phone number, your preferred choices of dates and times and the number of tickets you need.

Monday 6th February

Arrival/Finish: 13:00- 17:45/ 18:15-21:00

Tuesday 7th February
Dictionary Corner: DAVE SPIKEY
Arrival/Finish: 13:00- 17:45/ 18:15-21:00

Wednesday 8th February
Dictionary Corner: PAM AYRES
Arrival/Finish: 10:00- 13:00/ 13:15-18:00

Monday 20th February
Dictionary Corner: Martin Lewis
Arrival/Finish: 13:00- 17:45/ 18:15-21:00

Tuesday 21st February
Dictionary Corner: Fiona Armstrong
Arrival/Finish: 10:00- 13:00/ 13:15-18:00

Wednesday 22nd February

Due to the studio environment in which Countdown is recorded individuals under the age of 15 will not be admitted.
