Interfaith Climate Summit Opens in Uppsala, Sweden
The Interfaith Climate Summit opened in Uppsala, Sweden, on November 28, hosted by the Archbishop of the Church of Sweden, Anders Wejryd. Opinion-makers from different faiths and continents have gathered to debate climate change and its effects on the world's water and food security, how to achieve the UN's Millennium Development Goals on fighting poverty as well as global sustainable ecological, social and economic development.
