MPs Question Disabled Status   MPs have said doctors are wrongly approving disabled badges for people who exaggerate their disabilities to gain parking concessions worth up to £5,000 a year.
The Commons transport committee said the number of blue badges has more than trebled in the last 20 years to 2.3 million, and is expected to reach three million by 2012.
