Free touch typing for blind in Salford
Henshaws Society for Blind People are holding free 12 week IT courses for blind and visually impaired people across Salford. Using specialist magnification or speech-based 'access technology', the course will cover basic IT skills, browsing the internet and sending emails. Henshaws will also be running touch typing sessions at their Old Trafford-based centre. The society also runs social groups in Eccles and Walkden where people can enjoy refreshments, entertainers, bingo, games, Tai Chi, music and socialising.
