30-Strong GB Disability Swim Team Predict A Gold Rush In Eindhoven At The IPC World Championships
Beijing Paralympic Sensation And Britain’s Youngest Ever Individual Medalist Eleanor Simmonds Heads To Holland With A Team From Around The UK To Face The Best Paralympic Swimmers In The World

A 30-strong team has been announced to represent Great Britain at the IPC Swimming World Championships in Eindhoven, Holland next month, headed up by Double Paralympic Champion Eleanor Simmonds

Simmonds was only 12-years-old when she competed at her first World Championships in Durban and just two years later claimed the nation’s hearts with her tearful celebrations at the Beijing Paralympic Games.

Following the British Gas Disability Swim Team’s last major meet at the Welsh Short Course Championships in Llandudno several weeks ago, a number of swimmers emerged as ones to watch in Holland at the World Championships:

The British Gas Disability Swimming Team will be competing in Eindhoven from the 15th – 21st August.
