   Sports event for adults with disabilities
Salford council have announced plans for a sporting event day event to be held this Thursday, 15th July at Winton Park. Details below. The sports activities will include: • Shot put • Javelin • 60 metres • Standing long jump • Speed bounce • Target throw • Penalty Shoot Out The events will be set out as a circuit, participants will be split into groups and they will rotate round after 5 minutes on a station. There will also be tennis and an arts and craft workshop, followed by a light lunch in the park.
