Oman Ebay contract won by Salford agency CTI

Oman Ebay contract won by Salford agency CTI

CTI Support Network’s latest account has demonstrated the power of recommendations. The Manchester based internet agency will be rebuilding Omanbay after inquiries from the Middle East sultanate led to UK agencies, which were subsequently passed on to CTI.

CTI usually builds websites and social media hubs and portals for UK enterprises but the skills for this latest project were in short supply in The Gulf and it seems to some extent over here. Two agencies referred Omanbay to CTI and the Blackfriars Road agency will begin work on the project this month.

The new revamped site will utilise CTI’s Web 2.0 and Search Engine Optimisation skills to bring an attractive interactive environment that will attract sellers and buyers.

Oman might seem like an odd place for work to originate from but it has a Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of over $60 billion. The per capita GDP is $23,987, which compares favourably and sometimes much better than many EU members. The economy is currently diversifying from an oil base to include natural gas and tourism.

Omanbay will also be targeted at the Gulf area, including Dubai, and will use Arabic and English to attract a wide base of support.

Nick Rhind, Managing Director of CTI comments: “Unfortunately I will not get to fly out to Oman, but the serious point is we can deliver remotely, irrespective of client location. If there is the demand for high-end web and social media projects, we can fulfil it.”

CTI currently has a client list that includes multi-national Polypipe, the NHS and a number of marketing and advertising agencies.
