Alison King attends Lowry Outlet Mall for GAP outlet opening
The Lowry Outlet Mall celebrates the opening of its new Gap Outlet store this Saturday (September 11) with a jam-packed day of activities for all the family.


Coronation Street’s Alison King will be at the Mall at 1pm to officially launch the new store and meet shoppers. New mum Alison is famed for her sophisticated every day style and is sure to bring a touch of glamour to the proceeding.

Getting the celebrations underway from 12noon is Key 103’s Darren Proctor who will be broadcasting from the centre until 2pm.

Visitors to the Mall between 12am and 2pm will also be in with the chance of winning a number of on the spot prizes, including classic Gap hoodies, a meal for two at Pizza Express, a goodie bag from Molton Brown, a 65 litre rucksack from Trespass, a gift pack from men’s wear label Dickies, Antler backpack, a winter coat from Autonomy and many more.

Rob Hallworth Centre Manager said: “Gap Outlet is a fantastic new addition to the Mall which we’re sure will be incredibly popular with all our shoppers. The official launch event on Saturday looks set to be a great day out for all the family.”

The new GAP Outlet is situated on the ground floor next to Cadbury’s Factory Outlet.

Located in the heart of Salford Quays, at the end of the M602, the Lowry Outlet Mall is Manchester’s only factory outlet mall, offering savings of up to 60% off RRP all year round.

Is it just me or do the words Alison King and a Gap opening conjure up other thoughts rather than shopping?, thought so.

A visit by Carla has to be the most interesting thing about this place, a very poor shopping experience, wont go again either
