Creative and Media networking with Toast
Salford studios Toast are holding a creative, arts and media networking event in Manchester this weekend.

On September 5th 2010 at the Bay Horse Pub, Toast Live will be showcasing 8 hours of fun collaboration focusing on the creative sectors of music, art, film and photography.

Doors open at 2pm and the free event will include a recording and filming showcase:

"We will be filming, recording and performing a special song that has been written for the event.

Seven musicians will be taking part on the stage, along with two camera operatives, various sound engineers and two photographers helping to put together a little masterpiece of collaboration."

The resulting film will be edited and put live on the Toast Live website (see link below)

Toast's pro recording studio will also be taking registrations for the open day on Sunday 12th September.

Photographers Ian Tilton and Katy B will be exhibiting some of their recent work

Ian Tilton is a well known and respected photographer whose work spreads from Nirvana to the Hacienda.

Ian will showing some of his new exhibition 'Lets Dance'.

Katy is known for her work within the music scene around Manchester. Shooting as in the in house photographer for the Apollo. She will be showcasing some of her work in the bar area along with Ian.

There will also be an art exhibition featuring local musician Hayley Faye, and visitors will be encouraged to "take part in the art" by bringing along your ideas and a sketch pad. Paints will be supplied!

In the short film arena, Kino Films will be linking up with Toast to showcase some new talent within the Manchester short film circuit. These films will be playing in between the music acts.

The following bands and artists will be providing live music on the day:
SR Gents
Hayley Faye
Maliika
Phil Maddocks
David Rybka
