 Twas the day before Christmas ..
This little gem as been sent to us from SalfordOnline reader Alan Davies - Nice one Alan! (Not sure if the photo is Alan or not?) Twas the day before Christmas .. When all through the house Not a creature was smiling Especially the spouse The cupboards all full The fridge fit to burst But we've got no booze yet to quench 'Santa's ' thirst Then out of the kitchen There came a great shout ''Why,look my dear ' ''And we thought we had nowt' ''Here,see, we've some essences of rum and of brandy... A drop of Southern Comfort And a can of Bass Shandy' Then smiling he remembers the champagne he won ... Exclaims with a HIC!!
